Walhalla High School students collected over $7,000.00 for our annual White Christmas fund. They brought in their change, collected money by serving as senior slaves, and even paid to dance with their Principal. One WHS teacher even offered to shave off his mustache if the students raised $700.00. Their hard work will go a long way to help their fellow students this Christmas.
For the last 75 years, Walhalla High School students have raised money for their less fortunate classmates. The White Christmas program was started by Mr. E. B. Stoudemire in the early 1930’s. This program helped to ensure that students, whose families were affected by the depression, would have presents under their tree for Christmas. The lasting impact of this program has helped many thousands of students over the years. Many are indebted to this fine gentleman for his vision of helping fellow students.
We are proud to be a part of the RAZORBACK NATION!
